Heart rate asymmetry (HRA) is a quantifiable phenomenon in resting healthy people and visible in phase space plots. This visibility is defined with respect to line of identity (RR(i)=RR(i+t)) in a Poincaré plot of RR intervals. Hence the asymmetry means imbalance between two parts of a Poincaré plot, points above the line of identity (RR(i)>RR (i+t), deceleration of heart rate) and points below the line of identity (RR(i)
