YIA and other early full papers
This page contains important information for candidates for the Rosanna Degani Young Investigator Award (YIA), and/or the Clinical needs Translational Award (CTA) as well as for other authors submitting early papers. The same rules, including the 15 April deadline, apply to all three groups.
Both a full paper and a separate conference program abstract are among the requirements for the YIA competition, CTA or for reduced-fee registration. Both the paper and the separate abstract are due 15 April. Note that this due date was introduced in 2014, and is earlier than in previous years.
YIA and other early papers must be submitted in correct CinC style. They may be revised at any time until you mark them as “ready for review”, or until the submission deadline, whichever comes first. If your YIA or other early paper is accepted, you must resubmit it formally (see instructions) between 1 June and the date when final papers are due (usually one week before the conference begins).
Follow the instructions for preparing and submitting full papers, keeping in mind that the deadline for YIA and other early papers is 15 April.
Papers that are not presented by their authors at a CinC meeting are not published. It is essential that CinC attendees have an opportunity to discuss your work with you. If you know that it will be impossible for you or a coauthor to present your work at CinC, please find another suitable meeting or journal for publishing it.
